Comparing this sem's lab with last sem's, I feel that last sem's lab had more things to do... this sem's lab is more like a waiting game... Wed's lab went something like this... Prepare samples, 10 minutes. Incubate samples, 1 hour. Prepare samples, 5 minutes. Run samples in machine, 1 hour. Extract samples, 10 minutes. Run gel electrophoresis, 1 hour.
So my total waiting time was.... 3 HOURS!!! One hour was lunch... the other hour was a very tedious discussion period, while the next hour was a kopi break... heh... It's just the waiting that was killing... esp when one person in the pair opposite you feels a need to tell her partner every single thing she's doing... and sometimes says things that seem bimbotic... For example, the instructions say to spin the samples at 4 degrees C... and when she takes the samples out, she asks, "Y the samples so cold ah?" o.O
I didn't know whether to faint or die laughing... *roll eyes*
(Side note: I just found out I did the results for my practical 2 wrongly!!! BUT... good news is that they needed the relative ratios, which is still correct... hee...)
I just hope my next lab sessions will be more interesting... heh... it'll be quite boring if all we do is run gels every session...
I'm supposed to be out on this nice Friday night... but my best female friend decided to stay at New Asia Bar rather than meet for coffee, so... here I am... doing my lab report... heh... which is good too... got more time to do it, lots of crap to write.. heh..
Heh... The thing about best friends of the opposite gender is... well... they give you nice pictures!! hehe... Esp after you've taught them what little knowledge of photoshop you have... See??

Ahahaha... not bad right? Considering I dragged my ass over to her place at like 11.30pm at night just to help her install Photoshop... Hai~... the things I do just cos I'm too nice to girls... heh... PS. I hope she doesn't kill me cos I put the pics up... hehe...
Kk... I'd better get my ass back to doing the report so I can sleep soon... Gotta wake up at 6.30 for Frisbee tmr!! Team's name is Redfoot... Don't ask me why... ask daniel... ahaha... Let's just go have fun guys!!
