I'm so sad.... =(((( My computer motherboard has gone to that big computer in the sky... Luckily, my hard disks still can work... but that just means that I have to get a new motherboard, which means I'll need to get a new CPU chip and RAM as well... so I might as well get a whole new com... Graphics card also getting old... Might as well upgrade to a larger hard disk too... Think I'll only be keeping my 2nd hard disk as a backup, as well as my sound card, cos it's still good... hehe...

And my handphone is getting sick too... sometimes, my ringtone won't work, and it doesn't help that I need the sound for my alarm in the mornings... argh!! Everything is getting spoilt...

I went down to Queensway to look for the Puma Speed Cat today... dman sian... they only have the normal Speed Cats... and when I went to the shop that brought in the Ferrari series, and found that they only brought in the 2 higher end models... one Future Cat for $129 and one Future Cat Hi for $159... =( And when I asked the guy there whether he brought in the Speed Cats, he said that they didn't... so sad... Maybe I'll have to get it online... but then, it costs like US$70 bucks plus shipping, probably about S$150... so ex... =(

Hrm... An interesting letter came today... From the GOVERNMENT!! o.O

Oh no!! Am I summoned for something? Can't be leh!! I already changed my passport, collected it... Can't be that I left the country without an exit permit, I'm still at home!!

And then I saw those few letters and I knew what it was... SAF 100...

Argh!!! Reservist!! So fast?!?!? My SBO and helmet haven't had a chance to rot yet!! =x Er... I mean rest yet... hehe...

My heart was beating fast when I started to open the letter... those darn 'tear along the dotted line' letters are so hard to open... Then when I finally got it open, I began to read it...

"You Goh Zhong Sheng Christopher (Hrm, they finally didn't cut off my name halfway!!) NRIC S******** are required under blah blah blah... at 0730 hrs on 01/06/2005 at blah blah for the purpose of ICT BRIEFING. Your service will be up to 01/06/2005 1800 hrs"!! o.O

Yay~!! It's only for one day!! whee!! Heh... I guess I'm getting too comfortable with civilian life... Oh well... it'll be good to see everyone again... Guess I'd better start regular runs now... I'm still trying to lose weight... Argh... Been trying to anyway... ran on Sun, swam on Tues... heh... Need to step it up a bit...

Heh... I've been addicted to this damn Initial D 4th stage megamix... Hur... Just makes me wanna drive... and watch the needle on the speedometer rise... hehe... Whee........

My air con is leaking again!!! Argh!!! It's been like this for 2 nights in a row!! Ever since my sis left it on and my room door open from 11 plus to 5am... That's when it started leaking like crazy and flooded nearly half my room... That was... on Friday night... then it started leaking on Sun, and yesterday and today... =(

The weather's so freaking hot... I've taken to wearing lesser clothes at home if you get what I mean... Ugh!!! I even resorted to powdering myself with prickly heat to feel cooler...

When is the repair man coming??? I miss my cool air... =( =(

YEAH!!! Stats is ovaaarrrrrrr!!!! Whoo!!!! I really feel so light all of a sudden... but then, as I was walking back to the Science library, I started to review the work I had left... and I suddenly realised... I STILL HAVE A LOT TO DO!!!

Lets make a list... Lessee....
In order of priority:-
1) LSM 1101 Lab report due Friday, 11/03/05
2) ST2238 Assignment due Monday, 14/03/05

I got this from Val's fren Ivan's blog... seems he found a person who's so backward in thinking, I feel he's either joking about those posts, or was brought up under a rock or in a well... I think the site is down now... but this blog of reflecting thoughts makes me wonder whether the person is really thinking...

BLOGS ARE DETRIMENTAL TO A SOCIETY. I feel that society has changed. Diaries are now open to anyone, including classmates. It is not right I feel. Diaries are meant to be personal, only to be shared with a loved one.

Let me give you a senario. If a girl has a blog and reveals all her personal events online, will her future husband like the idea of other guys knowing so much of his wife??? I really don't know.

By having a blog, it gives people an avenue to seek attention. They are writing what their friends want to read and it might not be thier true feelings. This again might hinder the development of a cohesive society.

Here's another one...

Clubbing, disco dancing, and MSN chat, are now a way of life. And this is wrong! Clubbing and disco dancing is used as a catalyst to drugs and moral decay of society. Mad people dancing and wearing scantily clad clothes is a norm at these places. And don't you think it is disgraceful wearing such things and revealing them while dancing? I mean there is nothing wrong with dancing. It can even be a form of worship for christians, but I now we talk about the place. With drunkards and scantily clad people, there will be more unforseen acts that will occur.

MSN chat is a DETRIMENT to society. I repeat and stress on the word DETRIMENT. Okay, there is nothing technically wrong with msn chat. It is like chatting on the phone, right? But here comes the negative aspect. While it is all right for a girl to talk to a boy on the phone for a while, using msn chat can stretch conversations to more than an hour and I see that happening in today's world and context. When that boy or girl grows up, the spouse would not be happy to know his partner has talked to the opposite sex for a long time and they share a deep relationship. This would lead to spouses distrusting each other as there is like a " third party" in the relationship.

Teenagers these days are listeing to metallc music these days and are using the electric guitar to go "jamming. I am worried as metallic music generally promotes Satanism and " jamming" is really a form of acting cool, that's it. Okay, I am not judging whether listening to metallic music is right or wrong, but I am trying to rasie awareness about the negative aspect of such things.

" Women should not work." This statement no longer holds true for many women. Women now want the freedom to choose what they want to do and no longer live lives under their husbands. This is a very sad phenomanom.

Women are made to stay at home and to work. THis is their purpose in life and their job in life. Similarly, a man's job is to work and to bring money into the household. With the rise of house husbands, and working mums, this is going to change. But, I still think otherwise.

A man, being sharper and physically stronger, are able to take on the politics [!] in the office and generally have more energy to take on the demanding work load of the twenty first century. Women, being physically less capable, will get tired easily. Hence, they should stay at home and just live life simply as a housewife.

Women are also getting fiercer.

Today, after leaving PJC to Nanyang poly, I got scolding by a bunch of girls who strongly disagree that " boys and girls cannot mix in seconday school." I feel, joining CCAs like guides, is detrimental to a girl's development.

A boy would crave for the girl and isn't this bad????

In JC, boys are more mature and hopefully, that does not happen. But the point that I want to make is that why are girls so liberal and want to mix with boys from a tender age of 13?

It can be argued that they want to widen their social network and there is nothing wrong with it. But. if many boys come into thier lives, how will she treat her hubby?

I give you an example. If you eat a papaya once, you will treasure the taste. If you eat it frequently, you will no longer treasure it.
As such, I feel that girls should have fewer boys coming into thier lives. They will then love and treasure thier hubby more.

Btw... this wasn't written by someone who's nearing their senior years and still thinking so conservatively... It was written by a 17 yr old guy who just entered JC 1... I really dunno if such a guy exists, but if he does, my female friends want to meet him... and they'll be bringing clubs and knives along... ;P

It's so damn bloody cold in the Central Library... I can't even type properly... Joints are all freezing up... how the hell can I type my report like that?

But it's not as if there're nice places outside of the library for me to do my work at... I'm just changing my pace after doing stats for like 4 days... Tot I'd try to finish my lab report, or at least get started on it somewhat, before going back to do another tutorial for my stats...

Ugh... I just hate this... the coldness, the stiff joints, the boredem that comes with mugging... after the stats CA on the 10th, I have to finish up this lab report by Friday, start studying for another CA on the 18th, then do another CA assignment and 3 lab reports all by 31st March... Argh....

Somebody kill me.. Ugh...

Yup yup!!! I've finally got a gmail account!!! Wheee... so nice!!! 1GB of space to store things...

But.... I don't know what to do with all that space!! Hur....

My brain is totally saturated with stats... been piahing for it since Wed... sickening man... I'm like a zombie today... woke up at 945... and I had lab at 10!! So I rushed out and took a cab down... got there by 1030... didn't miss much anyway... They were going through last reports' questions...

Ugh... I hate doing serial dilution... can never understand how much buffer I need to out in, and how much of the previous solution I need to take... My lab partner had to explain it to me like a million times before I told him to start doing it and I'll get it... heh...

And my phone's acting up on my... sometimes I can't hear the ringtone properly... like there's static in the phone... Guess it's time to start hunting for a new phone... ugh... Got so many things to do, so little time...

I just found out from my fren that we might have ICT this coming holiday!! Argh!! So fast!! I just checked the miw website... the unit CO gave a hint that we might be having ICT during May to July 05 period... Yikes!! I'd better start exercising more reguarly... sheesh...

Ugh... I just spent 3 hours in the library revising my stats work for the CA on the 10th... I met a senior who asked me why I started so early... and I was like, "Early meh?"

I was thinking that it was late already... I have about 10 chapters to revise, plus questions to practice, AND a formula sheet to prepare... Ugh... My brain is already so chock full of stats formula, conditions and stats symbols. I tot my last sem's stats was bad... this is worse... the formula can take up to 4 lines!!! Yikes!!! So many ns, ks, and whatnot... I need a break...

Gotta go now... Think I want to rest my brain first... hehe...
