Uuuuuggghh... I'm still sick... Been sick since Mon... got a lot better on Wed... but after that session of clubbing... guess it deteriorated again... and this time, it went from having a throat infection and runny nose, to a cough, fever and runny nose... Ugh...

Luckily for me, I don't have much things on this week, eventhough it's Christmas... had to cancel my lunch with my relatives, but my parents still went... and I also had to cancel my meetup with the JC peeps... Hope they're not too pissed... I did say I was coming... hee... Sorry guys... next time k?

I really need to get well... otherwise the rest of my holidays will be wasted... there's still a lot of things I want to do... Plus, next sem onwards, I'll have to work harder... cos my results weren't exceptional this sem... definitely have to push up my CAP... Although I think it could have been worse... hee...

Think I'll sleep soon... need more sleep to recuperate... I've been drinking water like crazy... imagine the standard size Sigg bottle... being filled up at least 6 times a day... everytime I go and pee... I stand there for very long... think my stomach is rejecting it too... feel like puking... or maybe I just drank too fast...

Ah well... looks like I need more rest... Happy New Year ppl!!!

I'm sick..... sick sick sick..... Literally... not figuratively... *sniff*

Just recovering from a freaking headache, inflamed throat and stiff joints.... and my course of antibiotics doesn't seem to be doing a good job... my course finished... but now, I still feel weak... my neck's stiff and my nose feels like I ate too much wasabi everytime I inhale...

Ugh... Plus... Christmas is around the corner... I don't want to be sick on Christmas Day!!

Oh well... it's not like I've got any parties to go to anyway... Guess I can just stay home, with my PS2... hehe...

If I'm still sick tmr... I'm going to see the doc before he closes... Ugh... Did I mention I hate being sick??

Sigh~... I just did it again.... How many frickin' times can I actually make one person pissed in 24 hours?? To count... this is the 3rd time... Sheesh... I guess I should really just shut up... speak when spoken to... that kind of thing... Think before I speak... or in this case... type... That's y I'm typing this really slow... trying not to make it a 4th time...

But then... thinking about it... I was actually spoken to... and I still made the person pissed... Guess I should really try to shut up instead... take more than just a split second to reply to anything... really THINK and consider my answer...

My course commander once told me Empty Vessels Make the Most Noise... and told us to try and talk less... since then... I tried so hard to do that... guess after so long... the old habits just creeped back in... and I'm becoming an Empty Vessel again...

I try to avoid conflicts... I really hate to argue... I feel arguments just don't lead to anywhere... esp when both ppl are heated up... I just want to move on... So ok, I made a mistake, I said something wrong... Is it so hard to just tell me what's wrong and forgive me?

Sometimes... sometimes I just think... if I keep making you pissed... then y stay with me? Wouldn't you be better off without me? I think you'd have a more carefree life... But then... the moment that pops up, I brush it aside... cos I believe that if you keep thinking it, then it will come true... and I don't want that to happen... I've always believed that we can still go strong... this is but a small bump in the road that I have to weather...

I'm really sorry I said that... maybe I even squashed some of your fun with that... I really am... I can't go back and change what I said... but if I could, I would... I really would...

I really can't think of anything else to say... between the MSN, this and SMS... I've said all I could... Just forgive me pls?

I'm sorry.....

I just spent the whole day reading Dan Brown's Angel and Demons... and I managed to finish it in 7.5 hours!!! Of nearly non-stop reading... even read a bit while I ate dinner... hee... The story's damn interesting... keeps you guessing the ending... all the way till the end... the revelation at the end can also make you go... "whoa!"

It's really a good book... so if you're looking for a good read this holidays... Dan Brown is one author to consider...

On a lighter note... here's something I found... to remind us that eventhough it's the holidays, you must also remember to excercise prudence... :) Be careful this Christmas!!

Allow me to be mushy on this one post... For the girl who's always been there for me... For all that you've done for me this past 5 months, 15 days... I know I haven't really said much about how I appreciate all that... Call it shy, call it scared... All I know is that the past 5 months, 15 days have been the best days in my life. From the time you reentered my life, till now... it's just been wonderful...
I probably couldn't say all this cos I wouldn't know how to phrase it, guess that's y I wrote it down... We may have our ups and downs, our disagreements, but you still mean a lot to me... and I'll try my best to make this the best relationship for both of us...
The song more or less sums up the rest of what I feel... the areas that I could not put into words... this song says it all...

Enjoy my dear...

"I Love The Way You Love Me"

I like the feel of your name on my lips
And I like the sound of your sweet gentle kiss
The way that your fingers run through my hair
And how your scent lingers even when you're not there
And I like the way your eyes dance when you laugh
And how you enjoy your two-hour bath
And how you've convinced me to dance in the rain
With everyone watching like we were insane

But I love the way you love me
Strong and wild, slow and easy
Heart and soul so completely
I love the way you love me

And I like the sound of old R 'n' B
And you roll your eyes when I'm slightly off key
And I like the innocent way that you cry
At sappy old movies you've seen hundreds of times

But I love the way you love me
Strong and wild, slow and easy
Heart and soul so completely
I love the way you love me

And I could list a million things
I love to like about you
But they could all come down to one reason
I could never live without you
I could never live without you

But I love the way you love me
Strong and wild, slow and easy
Heart and soul so completely
I love the way you love me
I love the way you love me

Heh... a Slacker is really a Slacker... spent the whole of the afternoon playing GTA: San Andreas... Learning how to be a gangsta... and how to speak 'hood speak, like... "Yo homie... wat's up? Ya wanna git down on me wit this?", "Man, I'm f***ing stoned dude"... hehe... No wonder it's meant for older gamers...

Managed to score a garage, and frame a DA, plus save some hos from certain dangers, for their pimp... hehe... So fun... Really open ended... can finish the missions any way you want to... I recommend this game to people who really like to do just what they want to... hee... and there's also a bit of comedy in the cutscenes... some damn farney...

After establishing ma hood, I went to meet Val, Khas and Zai for dinner at City Hall... couldnt find anything nice... so we went to Pastamania at suntec... The carbonara was damn nice... but if you don't eat it while it's hot... it might just start to thicken... esp if you add LOTS AND LOTS of cheese... hee... gues the whole bunch of us are cheese freaks... the 4 of us finished up a full bottle of cheese... and even asked for a refill... and whittled that one down to half... hee...

Then we went to walk around... Went to Tower Records... nothing much... Went to Times... saw Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code... but my sis is bringing it back... so I'll wait for it... Wanted to get his Angels and Demons, but Val told me MPH selling cheaper... so we went down Citylink to MPH... Hrm... today got so many ppl... but then again... it IS a Friday night... Got my book for $16... then we took a train home... Hee...

I finally have something to do, other than GTA... I'm going to read Angels and Demons!!! Yay!!!

Having dinner with the guys tmr... at B Boss... I miss that place... heading down to Zouk after that... going to see Dancember... Val got us free entry!! Hee... Yay!!!

Quiz Me
Valerie is my
steamy bunny

http://quizme.stvlive.com/petname/quiz.php

Hee.... that's so interesting... I actually put in the same name again after posting this and tried again... and you actually get different names... from Sensual bunny... to spoiled bunny... even Delicate Bunny... but all of them end with Bunny... hehe...

Well... I just woke up not long ago... at about 2? Got back home yesterday quite late... I finally went China Black after sooooo long.... but frankly... that place is really going downhill... I tot 8 to 10 was free entry? I went there at 9 and had to pay $12 cover... Hrm... tot... ok lor... anyway, if I get a drink, it's also about the same... Music wasn't as great as last time... and I was actually surprised that the VIP area had become overrun with teens... instead of the usual shirts and pants ppl I normally see... And everywhere I go... I see guys who look like they were more suited in a video arcade rather than a club... some of the girls looked damn young... definitely below 18...

Really... I guess China Black's Ladies night wasn't what it used to be... there wasn't even a queue at 9... compared to the other time I went there... totally empty sia... and the girls were getting drunk as early as 1030... I'm like wtf? Drunk so early? And that same girl kept getting brought to the toilet... I counted 3 times... maybe more... hai~...

Maybe I'm just getting old... the crowd there is just too.... young? Maybe... I go dancing... I see guys dancing behind girls... doing pelvic thrusts like it's cool... when in actual fact... it looks damn perverted... And they make it worse when their faces look like they're actually getting aroused... Ugh... The girl whos back is to him, is of course... oblivious, as are most of the girls there... Sometimes, I dance next to guys who are trying their best to look cool... probably wanting to impress the girls around, but fail... worse is that they keep bumping into me... makes me just wanna smack them in the heads... all those botak heads and boi bois.... hehe...

Worse thing is... I got burnt by a f***ing cigarette!!! Stupid bitch was gossiping with her 2 other gal pals and didn't see where she was flinging her hand around... Yes... the hand holding her cig... she gestured widely and managed to hit my arm... with her F***ING CIG!! NB... I felt a sharp pain, then saw her cig near my arm... then I just went, "OW!!!" right next to her... at least she heard it and said sorry... then started giggling with ther gal pals... F***ing bitch... want to flirt also be aware of your surroundings mah... felt like dumping a jug over her to put out her cig... but tot... Nah... waste of a good drink...

Oh well... guess I should be looking for another place to club... Zouk anyone? This Fri?? Hehe...

I'm back from camp!!! Hee... damn fun... first day played games... had an impromptu waterbomb fight cos we had so many left over... hee... Then at night some of the ppl had mahjong, cards sessions... like gambling den sia... hee... I just spent the night talking with 2 of my friends in the room... we discussed everything under the sun sia... hehe... Tuesday morning had a jog to West Coast park... then had an 'obstacle' course at the rope course... quite fun... went back for training... then had a short self defence lesson at night... where we learnt the single most important thing... "WHACK THE FACE, GRAB THE BALLS!!"

Wahahaa.... good tip hor... Ahahahah!!!

2nd night was about the same as the first... then we had taekwondo aerobics in the morning before moving out... hee... damn fun... made quite a few friends... plus I was voted to be Publicity head for the club... hehe....

Went for sushi buffet at Suki again on Mon... hee... totally pigged out sia...
then Val went to meet her gal fren for some time alone... so I went to catch National Treasure... damn nice... I encourage ppl to go watch it... hee...

Then when I was walking past the hotel next to Cine, on my way to Taka... I saw a red Ferrari and silver Porsche parked there... the funny thing was... the Porsche had ppl cleaning its wheels!!! Everyone who walked by was like... 'Wah!! Got ppl clean car for you ah?" Hee...

Tried to take a pic... but too far... the pic was dark...

I didn't do much today though... just went for lunch at Big Fish... this neat small place along East Coast Road... with great food... price is about $20++... but it's well worth it... really... came back... and played GTA: San Andreas... hehe... I'm trying to take over all the territories in the city... gonna take some time.... but I think it's quite fun... hee...

K... think I'm gonna go be a gangsta again!! Hee... See ya homies!!!

I just completed Half Life 2!! whoo!! 1 down... er.... 9 more to go? hee... forgot how many games I hvae left unfinished... hehe...

Anyway... I'll be away for a camp from tmr, the 10th, till the 12th, Sun... so can't blog those few days... not like I frequently do anyway... hehe... Hope I'll have somethings to talk about when I get back... hehe...

Oh yeah... just wanted to put this in... I was at Singapore Immigration a few days ago, to change the name on my passport ie. get rid of my Hanyu Pingyin name... when I got there... I kinda realised it was the wrong time to go... SO many kids there... like 2 kids to every adult... they were running everywhere like the place was their playground... and then I got my queue number... it was like 187 places from the present number!!! o.O Hai~... so I just waited in there... tolerating all the chaos... hehe...

Realised that taking care of kids actually requires a lot... feeding, grooming... making birth cert... IC... passport... just to validate the kid's existence in the world... hehe... costs a lot too... sheesh... Don't think I'll want kids so early... hehe.... maybe when I have more savings... hehe... probably when I'm 30? hee... Think my brain is lagging... can't think anymore... guess I'll stop here then... hehe... cya...

Heh... I tot I would just celebrate my birthday quietly that day... But I was wrong... Val and Weiming surprised me by turning up at my place... with drinks, sushi and a cake!! Hee... So sweet guys... thanks... Mango cake... yum... Val even got me a present... Hee... At first, it looked like just a stuffed doggie... but when I removed the wrapping... I realised it was a keyboard rest for my wrists... AND my Ralph Lauren Silver!! Hee... Thanks dear!!! So sweet... plus... the doggie keyboard rest doubles as a stuffed toy that I put on my bed when I go to sleep... hee... Think I'll name him Doggie... :P

Didn't do much for the rest of the day though... bummed around while I let Val study... hehe... So considerate hor... :D

-------------

Then on Wed, after her exam, I met Val, her bro, Von and Khas for the SINGAPORE IDOL FINALS!!! Hee... We managed to get last minute tickets and rushed there... well... actually... I rushed there... they were already there...

When we got there... the queue to get in was damn long... imagine 2 queues snaking around the stadium, their ends touching each other and so, the end had to make a U turn... hehe... you could practically talk to ppl in the other queue... Then... there were this group of Sly girl fans... who walked along the entire queue screeching at the top of their lungs, " Vote for Sylvester!! Vote for Sylvester!!" So irritating!!! Weather already so hot, plus the queue so long... then still got ppl screaming at you... make you feel even worse... I told myself... if they pass by here again, I'd shout, " Kao pei ah!!" But sadly... they didn't... hai...

It was pandemonium in the stadium... everyone was clueless as to whether there were seats... or whether it was free seating... guess they didn't read the ticket properly... cos they had seat numbers... the next problem was finding the seats... hee... We asked an usher for that...

All in all... I guess I was more interested in seeing what the whole fuss was about, rather than going there to root for one of them... I much preferred Olinda to be in the finals anyway... hehe... Most of the time... I was looking around... wondering y ppl go so crazyabout those 2... esp when Gurmit just said their names and their fans went crazy... They didn't even appear yet!! At least I got to see how a live recording was shown... hee...

Well... Taufik won... too bad I didn't get to see those Sly fans... all looking like that... ==> :((((( Wahahaha!!! very bad hor... hee... but then again... they were so irritating... hee...

Anyway, in the end, I guess both of them won, cos both of them got recording contracts... hee... the moment Taufik's name was called... we stood up... cheered a bit, clapped... then were out the door.. to go catch the train home... since it was already 11pm... late already... Val and I were supposed to go Mambo... but guess we were just too tired...

I sent her home then went home to KO myself...

------------------

We went to the Suki Sushi buffet on Thursday... Pigged out on sushi, sashimi and every other thing there... Then we went walking around Orchard... actually it was going to be a shopping trip... but both of us couldn't find anything nice to buy... hee... Then during one of our breaks from walking... we sat at the benches outside Marriott Hotel and counted how people were wearing those short skirts popularised from the show The OC... Guess what?? In less than 20 minutes... we counted 100+... o.O what's even scarier is that not one was the same design...

Heh... we were so bored, we even went to see Peter, but he was busy... so we decided to relieve our childhood days and go look see at Toys R Us at the Forum... hee... we were like the only young shoppers there... the rest were parents and children... Oops... Anyway... something good came out of that... Val managed to find her Cranium game... it's a board game that's like 'Win Lose or Draw', 'Charades' and 'Trivia Pursuit' all mixed together... quite fun... We took a quick dinner at Orange Julius, had hotdog... hee... then went to her place to play the game with her bro... hehe... Damn fun... but it would be fun with more ppl... Hee...

We played until midnight... then I took a cab home... hee... luckily I live nearby... otherwise the taxi fare would kill me...

--------------

I went to cut and colour my hair today.. hee... my mother now lets me colour my hair... cos I told her it was to cover my white hairs... hee... The hair looks quite red in the light... hope it fades soon... so it won't look like such an 'auntie' colour... hee...

Then I went to TM for a look see while waiting Val and her frens to finish their swimming and mahjong game... hee... Saw Russell Lee, the ghost story writer at Popular... signing books for kids... He's in his usual black mask and everything... but this time, he wore a Santa hat with white hair too... hee... so cute...

TM is so damn crowded... worse than a traffic jam on the PIE.... Heh... remind me again y we have to make more babies... I saw so many strollers and heard so many screams... it's like a giant nursery... TM even had this train ride going around the whole 4th floor... Which I heard this fat business man like guy grumble to his mistress (I don't think it's his wife cos she wouldn't look that nice... hee)... "So stupid... the path already got so many people still want to put this here" I was just thinking... 'Ground floor is even worse... and at least the train had a cute horn to warn shoppers... Next time when you have a kid, see whether you still say that... I bet you'll HAVE to bring that brat for the ride, otherwise he'll scream his head off'... Hee... I know I'm being mean... but he just pissed me off... ;P

Had teppanyaki too... But didn't get the see them cook for us, cos they were closing up soon... so they just cooked it and served to us... Hai~... I always liked to see them cook the food...

I wanna try that again... Yum... hee...

It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mind and body.
