Well... let's see... what have I been doing? Oh yeah... went to Yida's bbq on the 10th... at East Coast... He damn zhai sia.... Booked 3 bbq pits... and was running between them the whole time... and let me tell you... they're not that close to each other either.. One was in the chalet... that was for his NS guys who stayed over the night before... the 2 pits outside were for his primary school mates and his secondary school mates... that is... US!! Hehe... The thing about us is... well... I think he also knew about it... and that was we'll be late... well... all except me anyway... hee... He asked us to be advance party to come earlier and set up the pit... but I was the only one to come at 4... the rest came around 5+ 6... hehe... so we were the last pit to start cooking... hehe... the rest of the ppl came later... but it still was fun lah... Caught up with a few frens whom I haven't seen in a while... like my BMT buddy Leong Hwee!! Michael, Yvonne and Chin Na... hehe... they still look great...
Guess what we got for Yida's birthday? His fellow 'slacker gang' bros, namely Kevin, Aaron, QingXiang, Gerald, Shaun, Tiong, Titus and I, all chipped in to get a digicam for him... Waahh... good right? You might think that it's a lot, but actually... we each spent just as much for Tiong and Kevin's bdays too... so... quite fair lah hor... anyway... it's his 21st... so must be a bit more special... hehe... I'll put up the pics I took soon... You can go to my picblog over here...
Anyway, so we met up, talked nonsense... caught up on old times... ate a lot... roasted marshmallows... then went back to the chalet for the cake cutting... wah... like very grand hor... hee... I don't have the pics of the cake cutting yet... maybe next time... I"ll get it from one of the guys... hehe... But it was nice... they displayed all his presents around the cake... then Yida made a nice speech too... hee... Nice one man... Then after that... we all went back home... Tiong and Gerald took a cab... Aaron waited for his father... QingXiang got a lift from Kevin... Shaun gave Titus, Yvonne and me a lift home... Now let's see.... who's bday is it next? I think it's Shaun's... hehe... wonder what we can do this time... ;)
That's all for Sat I guess... I went to take a look at Val's dance class on Sun... interesting place Jitterbugs... hehe... It's on the 3rd floor of Millenia Walk... one way to get there is via the lift that is place at such an out of plcae location, if it wasn't for the sign, I wouldn't have known there was a lift there... Jitterbugs has this studio with a glass wall facing the outside... so everyone can see into the studio when there are classes... and that's just what I did... although not for the whole length of the class... hehe... After she went for class.... I just wandered around Suntec... looking at stuff... mostly spent time at the arcade... hee... I'm just a stickler for Initial D... hee... then I came back at around 2.20 and watched them in class... their hiphop dancing is quite nice... high energy dancing... hee...
After her dance... we had nothing to do... so we just walked around Marina Square... then on the spur of the moment just went to watch Mean Girls... hee... For a teen movie, it's actually quite good... Watchable... Hee..
Make one realise that at one time or another... we've all been mean to someone... or talked behind their backs... I think after that, we just bummed around... Hehe... It's good to just slack... Then we walked down to bugis... Hehe... bored lah... ;)
Then I had an OG outing on Wed... initial plan was to go to watch the Starlight Cinema... then go down to Marina South for steamboat/bbq dinner.... But in the end, it was going to rain, and we ended up eating at Pizza Hut... and talking crap... playing Zhong Ji Mi Ma... hee... Nic was damn gross sia... mixing everything up... imagine bread stick with cheese piled on top, and chicken soup poured over... and lagsana leftovers on top... Eewww... But it was fun.... Hehe... Too bad we couldn't go Marina South... Maybe next time guys... Then Wai Kit will be damn happy... hehe.... Then we can eat till we're too full to move... Yum!!! All that seafood... prawns... crabs... yummy... hee...
Thurs was kinda boring too.... until Hock called me and asked me whether I wanted to go to China Black... I was bored... so I agreed... hehe... went there at around 10 plus, was expecting a crowd... instead... it was damn deserted... Cos it was Engin bash... hehe... or so everyone thought... but actually it's open to all... anyway... that was the first time I actually saw China Black so empty.... at midnight, there was still space at the tables and bar... even the dance floor wasn't packed!!! My goodness... and I don't know who the DJ was that day... but he didn't know how to mix the songs right... The dance floor kept getting empty, then full, then empty again... cos the songs he played were all mixed up... sheesh... then I met Huimin there and we joined her group to go dance... anyway... Hock knew most of them... all Sports Camp one... hee... So we actually had a good time dancing... managed to pull the girls on the platform too... hehe... Finally... the last time, none of them wanted to go... Hehe.... also not bad mah... I also got to make a few more friends... Can always go club next time... the bad thing was just the music... imagine, the number of ppl on the dance floor at 2.30 am couldn't even fill half the floor... But it was still kinda fun... although this time I took a cab home alone... hehe...
And if you tot China Black was bad... it was nothing compared to Centro... That place was worse... no wonder it's closing man!! I went to Centro on Friday night... yeah yeah... I know... a bit too much, but it's ok for me... once in a while... This time I went with Val and her Arts camp OG... a bit weird lah... hee... the only science person in the group... hee... But the ppl are nice... so made a few more frens again... hehe... Anyway... we met at City Hall... ate at Delifrance... and my goodness... there wasn't much food left... What the hell happened? The place was only operated by 2 ppl... and they didn't even have enough pastries... it was only 7pm!! Anyway, I managed to scrouge up a tuna sandwich... then we had a nice slow walk back to Raffles City cos some of the others wanted to eat other things... Then we walked down to the Esplanade... went to the roof terrace and just listened to the bands who were playing at the open air area downstairs... then we sat down and just talked, till it was time to go to Centro... Arrived there at around 10 plus... we had free tickets... and it was only then did I realise it was the 77th street bash... hee... Anyway... I should have known that it wouldn't be good... there wasn't even any queue outside... plus when I went in... the floor was empty... and there were a lot of empty seats... So we took a corner seat.... about 10+ of us? hehe... and started playnig card games while waiting for the drinks to come... then we played drinking games... and just bummed around for the moment... music wasn't that good either.... House/Trance... Eww...
In the end... we stayed for like only 4 hours? Left at around 2 plus... but had to wait for one of them to pick up those going to the East, so in the end, we waited till around 3 if I remember correctly... Then he came to pick us up, that is, Val, Suraj and I... and dropped us off at Eunos... then we walked down to Kembangan to eat prata at the 24 hr coffeeshop.... very nice... we managed to finish 4 egg and 2 cheese pratas... after that, we walked Val to her home and were about to leave when...... It started to rain!!! Argh!!!! so in the end, Suraj and I spent our time waiting for the rain to stop, at Val's house void deck... resting on the stone seat at her lift lobby... Suraj just KOed the moment he lay down... hehe... so in the end, I just closed my eyes there... couldn't sleep though... cos my contacts would make me uncomfortable... then we got up at 5 am... and took separate cabs back home... Heh...
The thing is... I had to go to the bank the next day.... so I literally didn't sleep till 11am.... when I got back from the bank with my father... after that... I was freaking tired for the whole day... sleeping on and off... cos I woke up at 4 plus... sheesh....
Guess that's how things went these few days... heh...

Anyway, the cycling was fun... I met Shiming at my house at 9.30 and we left together, but on the way there, I braked too hard and Shiming was following too closely, so he had a minor 'accident'... His rear wheel was out of alignment, but we managed to get to East Coast Macs fine... then after we reached there and registered, I went to look for some food... found a drink and nuggets... BIG mistake man... I'll explain y later... In total we had about 24 bikes, if I'm not wrong... and 3 cars escorting, with a pickup as well... hehe...
Anyway, we set off at around 11pm after getting bikes for those who didn't bring any... We went from the East Coast Macs, to Fort road, past the infamous Carparks of East Coast... hehe... saw a few cars wiht windows covered... :P Then went down to Tanjong Rhu... And boy, were the houses there nice!! So to whoever lives there... Nice area!! Quiet and peaceful too... Then we cut across the river to the indoor stadium, and went down, under the Nicoll Highway along the Kallang River to Beach Rd, and then to the Marina Promenade Park... saw more couples along the water's edge... Hee...
Went down to the Esplanade, past Centro, where I saw my good ol' fren, Eugene Lau~!! All seh-ing from partying at Centro... hee... Talked to him for a while before joining up with the rest... then we went down to Lau Pa Sat where I got myself an iced Milo and some satays with my OG mates... BIG mistake number 2... we sat there, talked more then proceeded to Chinatown... You should have seen us going down Cross street... like bike procession like that... got car driving alongside with hazard lights on... moving slowly... hee... kinda fun... we had the whole lane to ourselves... hee...
Then we went down the road and turned onto Boat Quay, went along the river, saw more couples... hee... then went all the way through the pubs area to the Fullerton Hotel, crossed the bridge there and went back to the Esplanade... then followed the park back to Kallang, we stopped at Old Airport Road, rested, while my stomach started to chun from my 2 BIG mistakes... then I made mistake no. 3... I went to drink a cold bottle of 100plus!! So my stomach started to churn, but no toilet nearby, so just had to control... not easy when you're riding a bicycle... Argh... so we moved down past my old school, TK sec!! Then hit to Katong, crossed to Marine Terrace and under the ECP back to East Coast Macs...
The moment we hit the Macs, I was off my bike and heading to the Mac's toilet when I found that........ it was closed!!! Argh!!! So I asked the blur Macs guy who was nearby, where the nearest toilet was... found out it was upstairs, so I walked briskly upstairs, cos if I ran, I might not have been able to hold it in... When I found the toilet, I realised, that THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER!! I had to get 3 packets from the shop there, BUT, I left my wallet downstairs, so I had to rush downstairs, get my wallet and come back up again!! ARGH!!!!
So there I was, rushing to the toilet, and when I entered, I found that half the toilet seat was gone!!! DOULBE ARGH!!!! So I had to sit carefully, otherwise I could cut myself... as I was looking for a place to put my stuff, I saw... A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER!!!! TRIPLE ARGH!!!! So nvm... I just sat down, did my business and got the hell out of there... Went back down and joined the rest for breakfast...
Think that's the worse of it... no... there's more... Went to queue for food at Macs... there was this 2 ladies in front of us who are buying I think for the ENTIRE family, cos they had dunno how many sets of meals man... What's worse is that the guy serving is also so FUCKING SLOW... The other who queued in longer quese actually managed to get their orders done first, while we were waiting for those 2 'ladies' to finish taking their orders...
Then came my turn, and I was already so bloody pissed with that guy... he actually made it worse... First, he took his own sweet bloody time to get me my order, saw him standing around talking to the other ppl instead of getting my drinks... Then, when I asked him for the doggie keychain, he gave me the wrong one!! Took so long to take 2 hash browns, came back, I told him he got me the wrong one, he said he's only got these other 3... of which, one was the one I wanted... WTF?!?!? Still sleeping issit? Look middle aged, yet still doing this type of job, I'm not surprised man... Sheesh... Wonder y they don't have that 60 second order things anymore... I'd probably have gotten my free ice cream...
After that, we returned the bikes, and Shiming and I cycled leisurely home... where I went home, bathed, changed and promptly KOed in bed at 6 plus... till my stomach woke me up again, and I rushed to the toilet to take another dump... this time... my 'business' had a green tinge to it... Hm... weird... anyway, I went back and KOed again on the sofa since it was only 11am... woke up just in time to eat lunch and go to music... then I was feeling bored, so I asked Yimei if she was still looking for a companion to go to see the Food Festival at PS... She said she was, so I went down to her place after music, accompanied her to PS, all the while catching up while in the train, then walked around the stalls... Ate Octopus balls... hee... Fried Wanton... then looked for the 'black' ice cream... hehe.. yum... Anyway, we got a double scoop, tried it and it was HEAVENLY Went back, reserved 2 pints while we walked around, window shopping and talking... and right before I wanted to go get the ice cream... I got ANOTHER stomach upset, and had to find the toilet, but the B2 toilet was under renovation, so I had to take the bloody lift up to 3rd floor, which is usually very fast but this time, it stopped at nearly every floor!! ARGH again!!!
Anyway, I finished my business, found Yimei again and we went to get the ice cream... yum... Went home straight after that... so the ice cream wouldn't melt that much... Then... just as I was about to start blogging just now... I had to go again!! WTH??!?!?!? and it still has a greenish tinge!!! Luckily I took meds for it... maybe I just need to detox... hehe...
So now I'm damn scared of going to the toilet again, cos my ass is already hurting from the biking and the frequent visits to the toilet too... Argh.....
