What's the point of having payment via eNets, when you still need to apply for Internet Banking to use it?? Seriously...

I was trying to book tickets at GV's online booking site, but due to the Taiwan earthquake, the credit/debit card payment service was unavailble, which left me with the eNets booking.

I tot since I had registered on the Nets site already, I'd give it a go... little did I know that when I clicked on the link to pay, I was brought to a local bank's internet banking site to make the payment. I was a bit stunned. I tot Nets could just deduct the amount from my bank account, anyway, felt it wasn't that much of a problem, cos I do have internet banking, I just had to go dig out the ID from my cupboard. Then I realised, I forgot my PIN number... Here's the frustrating part...

They stated that you could request for your PIN number online, which, I took to mean instant delivery... Unfortunately, it wasn't... It was just that the form to fill in to request for a password is online. Here's the part that made me question the effectiveness of their system... At the top of the form, its stated that you had to PRINT OUT the form, fill it in and BRING IT TO A BANK to request for your PIN...

That was when I went... Huh?? Might as well just go down to the bank and get the form there... What was the point? Anyway, long story short, I had to do a phone booking instead... And that's where the next problem came in...

For net bookings, because you've already paid for the tickets, eventhough they said you have to collect the tickets 30 mins before the show, even 5 mins before the show, they're still available for you... But apparently, for phone bookings, that wasn't the case... Once it passes 30 mins before the show, they will sell off your tickets if you haven't collected them yet...

I haven't done phone booking, so of course I wasn't aware of that difference.. So when Callie and I had phone booked Blood Diamond at vivocity, I didn't know that they'd sell off the tickets. So I was kinda shocked when they told me the booking wasn't available... And only the front 2 rows were left in the end... so we decided to catch Night at the Museum instead... Oh well... at least I managed to use my SAFRA discount... tickets for only $8 on weekends and public holidays.. lol..

And since the movie wasn't on till 9.30pm, we were supposed to get the 5.20pm show... that meant we had some extra time for other things... Took a trip down to The Cathay so Cal could get tickets for another movie she was watching with her friend the next day... Went to Ya Kun at the basement for her coffee fix... lol
First time I've seen a girl who likes Kopi gao... lol

Then went to have some fun at the arcade... Lol... You make a good arcade companion... We should do bishi bashi more often... lol... just less tiring ones... Haha...

Had dinner at Terra Cafe before the movie... They serve good drinks and good pasta... Just that their service staff need more training... not very attentive... I could seriously just go find with manager and tell them to give me 1 month and I'll improve their service tremendously... Their sets are quite affordable... every set had one main course, one soup and one ice cream... Drinks portion was also quite big... Hehe... I'm sure Callie loved the lemonade there... It tasted like liquid super lemon to me.. Haha...

Ice cream was raspberry and blueberry... So coincidental that she took raspberry, that was pink, and I took blueberry, which is blue.. You know... Boy = Blue, Girl = Pink... lol... Took a few pictures too... Haha...

Callie with her raspberry ice cream...

Me with my blueberry ice cream...

The boy and girl ice creams... lol

I became a ghost in the cafe.. Lol...

I guess its true... all girls just love the camera... Hahaha..

Night at the Museum was nice... although there was much more room for character development... the couple next to us left like half an hour into the show and never came back... I wonder what happened to them... Hehe...

Managed to get the last train to Dhoby Ghaut, but decided to go for fruits at Kopitiam... when we were walking through Dhoby Ghaut, heard that the last train had just left.. Lol... couldn't have caught it even if we ran from NEL... Haha... Guess going for fruits was a good idea after all... Kopitiam at Dhoby has nice fruits, quite fresh... and grumpy aunties.. lol... but I guess you can't be all that happy about having to work at 12 plus at night... Haha...

Had some nice conversation... then Noel dropped by and it became GREAT conversation... Haha... That was a great day... Nice movie, good food and great company... Hehe...

Btw... The jumput jumput you made was nice too!! Thanks for the samples!! My mother said it could have more bananas... lol...

Time to sleep... lunch with the bandits tmr... Lol...

This blog is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced reasoning inherent to the thinking of the mind. It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mind and body. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led me, inexorably, here. (Yeah. It's edited from Matrix Reloaded, so bite me)
