It's not like last sem when some still had saturday classes... and making the term break start from Mon and end on Fri makes much more sense than Sun to Thurs... cos then, the next week wouldn't have to start on Friday and make everyone confused about which week it is... Pfft... damn NUS admin...
Heh... well... my day off on Friday isn't really a day off, cos I still came to school... After accompanying Val and Zai to Ubi Driving Centre for them to register for their Basic Theory... hehe... I had to send in a lab report.... but I sat in for Val's Psych lecture with Zai, then I brought him round school... ok, not exactly round school... just to science so he could get lunch while I went to hand in the report in the lab... Then I happened upon the Engin club's XBox challenge while at the Forum and decided to take part... $2 only anyway... Driving game too... right up my alley... hehe...
Managed to make it to the top 8... but didn't win.... oh well... I did get some nice postcards... hehe...
Then on Sat was the NUS go-karting challenge... Hehe... the Science team managed to get 3rd... 138 laps... hrm... not bad... Got a medal and t-shirt... hehe... It was actually quite fun... like carpark rally... now I just wanna go for more... but damn ex... $25 for 10 mins for smaller karts, bigger ones is $35 for 10 mins...
Malaysia is much cheaper, but not very convenient to go there... but this was the cheapest I've paid for in SG, cos the Science DEan subsidised the cost for us... only had to pay $10... hee...
After that, I rushed down to Jubilee Hall to catch Carolyn's NTU hall production... it was like a double date... cos Val and I met Val's friend, Bel, and her bf, Alvin. The production was not bad... some good singers... one slightly not good one... dragged a bit too long... felt my kness were going to break is I had to sit for one more minute... Some good actors too... got potential...
After the play ended, Val and I, Carolyn and Keith, went to Cartel for dinner... heh... made the last order... then took a short walk to the war memorial, sat down for a chat... and shared a cab back... heh...
Kinda nice to just sit and chat... just too bad there were those damn mosquitoes... hehe...
It's late... I need to sleep... maybe I'll talk more about these things tmr...

Why am I so happy? Well... cos I've also just finished my lab report!Yippee!! Finally, I managed to get something done during the term break... I'm still a bit behind for my readings, and revisions, but hopefully, I'll be able to catch up during the next few weeks...
My father just got back from his cataract surgery today... with a transparent eye covering over his left eye... hehe... kinda makes him look like a pirate... Hehe... that's funny... never really saw my father like that...
I also went to watch White Noise just now... with Val, Khas and Zai... Lemme just say... Don't waste your money!! Its plot has so many loopholes, you'll end up spending your entire dinner discussing what really happened... Instead... go watch Team America!! It's from the makers of South Park, so you'll definitely be sure that they have crude language in there... among other things... Rated M18... hehe... That's funny... a movie with puppets thats rated M18...
I think I'm getting hooked onto instant soba noodles... hee... my sis made some for me the other day... and they really taste nice!! you just cook the noodles, cool them in ice water... then add the sauce and garnishings in another bowl, add water... and you're done!! Cold Soba... Mmm... nice... the sauce you dip the noodles into has a hint of wasabi... nice....
Think I gotta koon now... otherwise, I won't be able to wake up tmr... Btw... There's a Charity Go Kart Challenge in school this Sat... at the School of Computing carpark... I'm taking part... anyone wanna come down and watch?? =P

This realy sucks... I thought nothing could make me feel more worse, and guess I was wrong... In my semi sick state, I said something that was meant to be a joke, but the other party didn't think it was that funny... I hate it when this happens... I get misunderstood... I don't mean it at all... but it's too late... the idiotic words that I spoke have already left my mouth... I get slapped with things like "I'm not serious at all", or "Maybe I should just not be serious in everything", something in that effect.
Am I really not serious enough? Sure, I always seem to joke around and tease, but when it's time for work, I do get serious, don't I??
I don't want to be that rigid serious boy I was in sec school... someone who couldn't take a joke and laugh at himself... someone who hated people for laughing at him, when he should have been laughing with them... I hated that person... I hated being that way...
The reason I chose Slkrz, was cos it could make me be less serious about things... really just 'Slack"... as it is... not care about things that don't really concern me... care when I want to, care about who I want to... Not care about every single thing that came across my path... that was who I wanted to be... And that's what the Slkrz is about... it's my altered persona, so to speak... I can even say that it's my philosophy in life... To just care about what is important, and have fun with the rest of what life offers... Life's short... so y be so serious?
I guess what it boils down to, is balance... everything in life has to be balanced... the amount of sleep... your diet... and now, the things you want to take seriously as well...
Hrm... guess I learnt something new today... Gonna rest now... head's starting to kill me...
