It's back to school again!! The school's 'so-called' term break is over, plus my extra day off on Friday too... hehe... Actually... I think it's kinda stupid to make the term break start on a SUNDAY... and end on a THURSDAY... We've got a 5 day work week already... so is it really worth coming all the way back to school for one measly day? Can't we have that extra day to finish up on work, or just to rest a bit longer?

It's not like last sem when some still had saturday classes... and making the term break start from Mon and end on Fri makes much more sense than Sun to Thurs... cos then, the next week wouldn't have to start on Friday and make everyone confused about which week it is... Pfft... damn NUS admin...

Heh... well... my day off on Friday isn't really a day off, cos I still came to school... After accompanying Val and Zai to Ubi Driving Centre for them to register for their Basic Theory... hehe... I had to send in a lab report.... but I sat in for Val's Psych lecture with Zai, then I brought him round school... ok, not exactly round school... just to science so he could get lunch while I went to hand in the report in the lab... Then I happened upon the Engin club's XBox challenge while at the Forum and decided to take part... $2 only anyway... Driving game too... right up my alley... hehe...

Managed to make it to the top 8... but didn't win.... oh well... I did get some nice postcards... hehe...

Then on Sat was the NUS go-karting challenge... Hehe... the Science team managed to get 3rd... 138 laps... hrm... not bad... Got a medal and t-shirt... hehe... It was actually quite fun... like carpark rally... now I just wanna go for more... but damn ex... $25 for 10 mins for smaller karts, bigger ones is $35 for 10 mins...

Malaysia is much cheaper, but not very convenient to go there... but this was the cheapest I've paid for in SG, cos the Science DEan subsidised the cost for us... only had to pay $10... hee...

After that, I rushed down to Jubilee Hall to catch Carolyn's NTU hall production... it was like a double date... cos Val and I met Val's friend, Bel, and her bf, Alvin. The production was not bad... some good singers... one slightly not good one... dragged a bit too long... felt my kness were going to break is I had to sit for one more minute... Some good actors too... got potential...

After the play ended, Val and I, Carolyn and Keith, went to Cartel for dinner... heh... made the last order... then took a short walk to the war memorial, sat down for a chat... and shared a cab back... heh...

Kinda nice to just sit and chat... just too bad there were those damn mosquitoes... hehe...

It's late... I need to sleep... maybe I'll talk more about these things tmr...
