Hm... I can't believe I was so tired yesterday, I didn't even change and wash up... I just KOed on my bed still in my clothes... and with my contacts on somemore!!! I'm amazed I could still take my contacts off this morning... Hehe...

Anyway, I guess cos I was running around these few days... Doing stuff... Meeting up with frens... Quite tiring... Oh yeah... I went to watch Shrek 2 and Van Helsing during the week... Van Helsing was kinda neat... Great effects... Great looking female lead too... hehe... Didn't know Kate Beckinsale could look better than in Underworld... But she can!! Hehe... Or maybe it's cos of the corset she was wearing...

Shrek 2 was just as good... Damn funny!!! They've managed to spoof nearly everything imaginable... From Spiderman and Zorro to even Street Fighter!!! Damn funny movie!! And yes, I have to agree... Puss in Boots does steal the show at some parts... Esp when he does those huge cute eyes... The donkey was just as hilarious as well... One of the best parts is after the credits... there's a part that most ppl will miss if they leave early... so those watching had better wait... It's worth it... ;)

Went to eat at Fish and Co yesterday with Val, Khas and Zai (I think that's how it's spelt... hee...) Khas took the fish and chips, which, as always, looks delicious... Zai tried the stingray, also good... And I shared a seafood platter with Val... plus the mussels in lemon butter sauce... Yum... But the seafood platter... was like woah!! Big! Even for 2 ppl... in the end, we managed to finish nearly everything except the fries and calamari... The prawns were very fresh... so was the fish... Yum... The best was still the mussels... Delicious!! We even tried to get every last drop of the sauce using the bread... That's how it's supposed to be eaten.. finish the mussels, then dip the bread in the sauce... Man.. just thinking about it makes me want to eat it again...

I went to the LotR exhibition on Tues too... Hell of a lot of kids, cos the school holidays were approaching and they had some science project thing to do over there... thing is, not only one school was doing it... and in the end, there were groups of little noisy kids running around the entire centre... Like what Jignesh said when he saw them... "The Black Gates have opened!" And I really agree... And there was this interesting school... don't know what school, but their uniform was really funny... Red top and black pants/skirts... kinda looked like Mac uniforms... So I called them Macdonalds' Pri school... hehe... but still... too many kids... esp during the afternoon... just couldn't wait to get out of there...

I'm hungry... think I"ll go look for something to eat... I'll blog again soon... hopefully... hehe...

Hey hey... I just got my new blog skin!! I guess cos the old one was too small for the posts, and the site that hosted the pic isn't there anymore, so I don't have my nice notebook pic... Anyway, I'm still trying to improve this site... but I'll do it slowly... Bit by bit... But I do have some problems, maybe you guys can help me solve it...

1, Anyone know how to make my menu scroll, so I can make it all on one page?

2, Does anyone know how to put a pic in the background? I want to put a faded one... hee...

Hm... finally managed to get my archives working again too... hee... Hopefully, this skin will stay longer than the other one... changing skins is hard work man... A lot of copy and pasting to do... hee...

Anyway, I went to Kallang Macs yesterday to meet up with those guys for SG forums... as well as take a look at the 86... guess you guys want pics right? Well... you've gotta wait for a while... I haven't resized them yet... hee... Maybe in a few days' time... I tell you, the wait is definitely worth it!!!

It's past midnight on the 22nd of May, 2004... and on this day, I will be doing something every 18yr old Singaporean male dreams of doing... I'll be taking back my pink ic... which means... ORD LOH!!!!!! Waahahahah!!! Yahoo!!! This, is the day of redemption... the day where Singaporean NSFs can finally leave behind their lives of wearing green foliage and enter the urban jungle of school and work... Where they do not have to bear anymore shit and can live their own lives again... Where we gain freedom but lose income... where... wher... whatever lah!!! ORD loh!!!! Wahahahahhaa!!!!

Anyway, back to more serious stuff... yup, it IS my ord date... so I'm going back to take my pink ic, then probably going out with the other guys to celebrate... eat lunch or something... then I've got a fren's 21st bday chalet to attend at ECP... then go down to Kallang to meet up with some like minded car lovers... and I'll get to see one of my favourite cars, one of the 5 Toyota Trueno AE86s in Singapore!! It's an old car, but still good... For those who don't know what car I'm talking about, it's this one...

Don't look very fierce right? But it's a well balanced car and a fun car to drive... It's no wonder until now, ppl in Japan are still using it... I'm thinking of taking a lots of photos of it... and if possible, maybe test drive it too... hehe... I really can't wait... Hehe...

Speaking of cars, I took a taxi this afternoon that really freaked me out... At first, everything was normal... then as I looked at the bottom right corner of the window, I saw ANTS crawling out of the space between the door and hinges... not just one... a few actually... and there was one or two at the front passenger window too!!! I was just like Ewww!!! Seeing them on a tree is one thing, but in a taxi?? Reminds me of the time I took a taxi when I was very young, there were small cockroaches running all over the floor!! The driver had like those traps set under each chair and one in the middle!!! Argh!!! I was like WTH?!?!?!?!?

I nearly managed to watch Van Helsing with Shiqin and Jignesh today... they came over for a while and on the spur of the moment, we decided to watch it at PS, Jig checked the timings and saw a 9.35 show, so we rushed down since it was already 8.40... and when we got there.... we saw that the earliest show was 1.05am... I was like WTF??!?!? so we thought the 9.35 show was full, too bad... then Jig, being the inquisitive fellow that he is, asked his sis to check the newspaper again, and we found that he had misread the timings... The 9.35 show was for this morning!!! ARGH!!!!!! Anyway, instead, we just went to eat a bit of dinner and went home... sian right? I think if it wasn't for the company ;), I would have overslept in the train... hehe... So Jig, you owe shiqin and I a movie... hehe... I can't wait for Tuesday, we're going to see the LotR exhibit at the science centre... Woohoo!!

It's another blardy hot day... so hot you could literally cook an egg on any metal surface that's been in the sun... esp dark surfaces... So hot my house hall is like a sauna compared to my room which has the air con going at 23 degrees... It's just one of those days that make you not want to do anything at all... It's so hot it's insane.... been drinking cold water, ice water, sprite ice.... anything to stay cool... but it's not really helping... even walking 50m will make me perspire... this is insane...

Managed to catch the new TV show nip/tuck just now.... kinda interesting... with a few shocking moments too... esp the one where they're performing the facelift for this guy... they actually showed how they did it... albeit, in short parts... but really... it's quite disturbing how they operate on you to make you look better, if that IS the result in the end... It just made me think y ppl would go to such lengths just to try to look better... isn't there anything a bit of make up, exercise and a new hairdo can't fix? That we have to resort to surgery just to look better?? Are we such a vain species that only the most extreme of measures will be able to satisfy us?

I certainly hope not... esp with all those pictures of perfect ppl in the advertisements... it's just disconcerting, thinking that we have to be fit into a certain mould to be deemed average in this material world... just what is average? In different cultures and countries, there are different views on how the average person looks like, but the most common thing is that they must be slim/slightly muscular or well built... Ah well... beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Shit lah... I'm just spouting nonsense man... can't concentrate... read something on friendster I regret reading... Nvm... and don't anyone bother asking either... I'm not telling... Man... not in any mood to blog now... ciao

It's the weekend again... and PS was just as crowded... saw quite a handful of guys wearing pink today... AND... I just realised something... there are 2 types of guys who CANNOT, under any circumstances, wear pink tees... one, is the aforementioned big, buff, muscular guy... while two, is the fat, rotound guy... Not that I'm biased against fat ppl, but I just saw this fat guy in the MRT station wearing pink, thing is, it matched his skin nearly perfectly, and really resembled a pig!! I'm not kidding!! I had to do a double take just to make sure I didn't see wrongly... Hehe... No offence to those plump guys who don't wear pink... ;)

Oh yeah... I just have to write this too... I went to watch Troy with my JC guys on Thurs... and I found the movie kinda slow at some parts... For example, when Hector was called down to fight by Achilles, the bloody idiot took his own sweet time to walk down to the gate and confront Achilles. Poor Achilles was there, in front of the gate, shouting his lungs out for Hector to come out and Hector took his own bloody sweet time... I was watching thinking, will you just get the hell down there and fight? But NO... even after Hector confronted Achilles, he had to give this bloody slow speech first... I was there like "Argh!!! Will you guys get it on already?!??!?"

That was one of the problems with the movie anyway... the other one, was these few groups of females watching the show... there were a few throughout the cinema, who just couldn't stop cooing... Yep... Cooing, you'd think it was cos of Brad Pitt... but surprisingly, it was cos of the BABY!!! Yes, Hector's baby son!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME he appeared in a close up shot, which was like 5-6 times, I'd hear them going, "So cute!!", or "Aiyoh!! Eeee!! Cute!!" I just sat there thinking, "Sheesh, if you want babies so bad, then go answer the nation's call and have a few toddlers of your own."

Darn it... feeling sleepy... think I'll continue tmr... See ya ppl...

Got this in the mail today... Really cracked me up... I'll just let you guys judge for yourselves... Enjoy... ;)

Guess Tolkien didn't think of this one ...

Lord Of the Rings in a Nutshell

Gandalf: That ring is bad news, Frodo, it must be destroyed.
Frodo: But how?
Gandalf: It must be placed in the fires of Mount Doom.
Frodo: Oh well, I guess that means a lot of walking, camping and then
running away from monsters, lots of death and almost losing all my friends?
Gandalf: Nah, I just so happen to know some big eagles that can fly us
straight to the mountain and we can strategically drop it into the lava.
We'll be home by tea.
Frodo: Cool...I'll make scones.

This left me laughing so hard, I tot I'd tear my stitches... Anyway, to quote my sis, I really feel this statement fit the email too... She said,'There goes all my LOTR fantasies of adventure man'... And I so agree... Wahaha...

Anyway, nothing much happened today, rented a car, drove to camp to pick up the remainder (read: duffel bag) of my stuff in the bunk and did my wedical checkup... drove back, dumped everything and sent the car back... the only gripe I had was when I was driving back, and I was on the PIE, I wanted to get onto the Bedok North exit, so I had to change to the leftmost lane... after I changed, I realised I was behind this motorcyclist... and he was hogging the ENTIRE lane... going at 50+kmh on the expressway!!! So for the entire way onto the exit, which was like 600m, I was essentially driving behind the motorcyclist, going at around 50, with an entire lane of traffic piled up behind me as well...

I mean, yeah, sure, some ppl will say, "But the sliproad speed limit is 50 what"... I'd just say, so? most don't go 50, at least 60... which is much better, cos the speed at the left lane when you get off the sliproad is also around 60, so you'll be at just the right speed to enter it... The thing I'm pissed at is that he was hogging the entire lane going up to the sliproad... I could only pass him when I saw that the sliproad had 2 lanes, and I just shifted to the other lane, which was just blocked by some trucks sometime ago... and passed by him, as did the entire lane behine me... sheesh... I think he forgot he was on a bike, tot he was in a car... I mean, really, your old bike is slow, so I know it's not really your fault, but the least you could have done was not hog the lane and let others pass you...

Same thing about the right lane too... it's supposed to be for OVERTAKING vehicles, so if you wanna go 70 - 80, please, use the other lanes... imagine driving behind this car, and seeing this whole stretch of empty road in front of it, just cos the car in front is going at 80+, where the limit is 90... you're not overtaking, you're hogging the lane... And I did glance in my rear view mirror... there was one whole stretch of cars too... I couldn't change lanes either cos the lane at my left was going just as slow...

Urgh... I'm the one with the P plate and I know which lane to take, not like you, who are supposed to have more experience than me, but still don't know which lane to take... And you're definitely not a Johor driver too... those are worse... change lanes without signalling, last minute cut across 2 or more lanes... wah... when I drive and see a malaysian plate, I leave a longer distance behind it... scared lah... hehe...

Man... I really wanna justgo for a long drive with little or no traffic... that would be great... Now I know how good taxi drivers really are... Hehe... They really have the balls... one time, this cabby went at 140kmh on the PIE... extreme right lane... Wah... I was holding onto my seat belt the whole trip man... Ah... the only time you can feel like you're in a racing car... Hehe...

Saw something interesting in the MRT station while on my way home this morning... There was this quite buff and well built guy wearing a PINK tshirt... It was the colour that first caught my eye, I just kept wondering y in the world would a guy be wearing a pink tshirt? Is it like, the new black or wat? Then I saw what was written on the front... It read 'Barbie Is A Slut' Right at that moment, I didn't know whether that statement was gay or macho... Just kinda snickered to myself... Maybe it was cos I was tired or what, but just found it funny...

And about those pink tshirts... is that the new craze or what?? I always see some guy wearing a pink tee walking around in Orchard... usually it's those Milk Tees... but really... what's with pink? It's the IN thing now? I don't see how it can be... To me, pink will always be a colour for the fairer sex only... I really can't picture myself wearing pink... Ugh... I guess it's a case of whether I fit the colour, and I DEFINITELY cannot do pink, or purple for that matter... I tot orange would be a hot colour... Speaking of hot...

It's such a hot day today!! Man! I think I had a tan just from doing prowling on Sun alone... the sun was so hot... The guard room was like a sauna in places where there wasn't any fans. Even my house right now is the same as the guardroom... My room aircon is at 24 degrees, but the moment I stepped out into the hall... it's like a sauna again!! The weather is so horrendous... I can take the MRT from camp back home in airon comfort, but the moment I step out, the warm air hits you like a fist... and you wish you're back in the train again... Or actually... you just wish you're back in a place with the aircon on... I hate it when it's so hot, I perspire so fast... make my clothes wet and sticky...

It's times like this when I crave for a sports convertible and a long empty road... where I'll just lower the top and drive off, nothing to worry about, enjoying the breeze as the scenery rushes past me at 120km/h... Hm... maybe I should do that some day... Rent a convertible and drive down the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne... that would be something I'd really like to do... To me, driving is therapeutic, where I don't have to care much about anything and just concentrate on the road ahead... Most ppl don't get that, esp in Singapore where roads are congested and you can't really speed much... But even in Singapore, driving is still kinda therapeutic for me, unless traffic is really bad, but most of the time, it's still relaxing... at least, for me...

Ever seen black poo? I have, saw it when I was sitting on the toilet bowl... Instead of the colour being brown like normal, mine came out black today... And I had copper colours pee too... hee.... Guess it's cos I've been swallowing a lot of blood these past few days... Just pulled out my remaining 2 on Mon... This one is harder to operate on than my other 2 cos this time, one of them is all the way in the gum... Anyway, after they were taken out, I got home, all swollen and all and basically stoned the whole day, waiting for the bleeding to stop.... Thing is, on Wed night, it started bleeding again!! And a lot too!!! I used up dunno how many packets of gauze trying to stop the bleeding... Woke up on Thursday with my mouth stained red, spent the rest of the day changing gauze and looking at semi clotted blood... Then this morning, I couldn't take it anymore, cos I actually stained my clothes too... So I rushed down to Alexandra for the dentist to take a look...

She gave me a few injections to swell the gum and plugged up the whole in my gum. At first, it seemed to work, I went home and didn't see anymore bleeding, so I took a nap... and woke up with my mouth filling up with blood and saliva again!! Argh!!! Rushed down to AH again... this time, they undid my stitches, dug around inside, found the problem, and restitched me... So, more injections again.... Ouch... So far so good this time... finally managed to drink something other than milk... I've been on a liquid diet since Monday... Only milk, apple juice and soup... for 5 fucking days!!!!! Good diet right? Wrong... so tired I spent most of the time sleeping, trying to recuperate and stop my bleeding... Jaws were aching so much from trying to bite down hard on the gauze for a half hour everytime I changed one... Felt that my molars were actually loosening man....

Anyway, now I'm just watching and waiting, seeing whether the wound will start to bleed again... so far so good... but the dentist did advise me against streneous activities... Darn, there goes my swimming... hehe... I'm just dying for a swim... Wanna get a tan and work out too... I just love the feeling it gives me... the sensation of near weightlessness... Plus I get a full body workout too... The only thing that irks me sometimes is the state of the public pools... Just very Eww... sometimes... I just wish I had a private pool... hehe...

Damn tired and sleepy now... Think I'll stop here for today.. Night peeps...

Argh... I'm still down with a cough and cold... sian... And the medicine's making my so drowsy... didn't feel like doing anything today except lie down, stone and sleep... so my whole day went something like... Wake up, laze in bed, eat breakfast, go back to bed, wake up for lunch, lie on the sofa watching TV, doze off on the sofa, wake up for dinner, watch TV... you get the idea.... good way to catch up on my lost sleep too... hehe...

Anyway, seems like my cable modem's also on the fritz... it just conked out on me just now... couldn't even have power... so I let it cool down, then it got all better again... hehe... something like having a fever... ;) Stoopid thing... 2nd time this happened.... I think it's time to get a new modem... maybe a wireless networking one... hehe... just in time for Uni too... hehe...

Guess I've still got time to put up day 3 of my Perth trip... if it's short enough, maybe day 4 too...

11th April
Ah... this is what a holiday is supposed to be like.... sleeping late, waking up late... just lazing around... Waiting for my sis to meet us in the hotel, then we're going to eat dim sum at Hoi's Kitchen... nice... it's a small place near the train station, but very popular... wasn't even 12 and the place was already crowded...
The food was nice too... esp the prawn dumplings and chicken feet... although I don't really like the feet... but I did try one... quite nice...
Then we went to see my sis' house... quite a cosy place... quiet too... walking in the area, I saw many houses with boats being towed behind their cars... They really like the sea!!! Anyway, we were waiting for the public bus outside the hotel so we would go there, when I saw this really cool modded silver Supra!! Damn nice!! Took pics like crazy... hehe... even have one full body shot... yeah!! The bus was no. 880 to Windich St. The buses here are really slack... They have determined time schedules as to when they arrive, and the thing is, each interval is more than a half hour long!!! 0_o
The trip itself took half an hour... her house is wooden, so the floor kinda creaks when you walk around... and echoes too, esp when someone as heavy as my sis walks around... haha... Saw her housemate Nadine too... nice girl... bought a new plant for the garden too... although I think the garden needs more care than the plant.. hee... We spent some time there, then took the bus back to the hotel to have dinner, then we walked around the shopping area for a while, stocked up on snacks and went back to the hotel...

12th April
Had breakkie at 8.30.... Watched TV till 11... Took a train to Fremantle for shopping with sis and parents at 12... It's a public holiday, so perth basically closed down, nearly everyone went to Freo, as they called it... We went to this huge warehouse place that had a lot of small stores, selling nearly everything you wanted... fountains, snacks, souveniers, watches, clothes, sunnies (aka sunglasses)... quite a lot of trinkets... We bought 3 bags of nougats... hehe... all different types...
Then we walked to the pier, where there were performances and parks to stroll through... and... Fish and Chips shops!!! Woohoo!! Lunch time!!! Went to this place called Kaili's... the food there is freat!! We ate one set of fish and chips, 2 whole lobsters and a dozen oysters... I must say... the oysters and lobsters are REALLY FRESH!!! The whole place was crowded though...
Went to the fremantle markets after that... saw more shops selling stuff... bought more nougats... hehe... then went to get ice cream... yum!! Since the shop was just along the street, I saw a lot of ppl driving by, and I must say... They really love their power cars!! Saw couple of Skylines, Corvettes and even a Ford GT... Whoo!! Saw Harleys too... ;)
Visited the shipwreck museum after that... saw nice pics of shipwrecks which were discovered around Fremantle's coast... Bought some stuff, and then we took the train back... Went back to the hotel room, and I watched TV while waiting for my sis to come back with her friend so we could go for dinner... Went to this place which is open 24 hours, called Oreil... ate a beef burger... nice... Then we sat there and talked, and drove back to send me back to the hotel, but since the whole area was covered in one way streets, we kinda got lost and had to drive around looking for the street to turn into... I found that street and told my sis to take it, but she didn't want to, and instead, stopped me a block up the street, and I had to walk a block down the street back to the hotel... sheesh... told ya you should have taken that right turn... haha.... ;)

Yep... that's all for now... see ya...

Happy Labour Day peeps... At least... hope it's happy for you guys... I'm a bit under the weather now... probably cos it's really been a tiring week... Let's see... Parade rehearsals on Mon and Tues, actual parade on Tues afternoon... Had a Medical checkup at Nus on Wed morning, then went back to camp to prep my vehicle to be handed over to the workshop... Thurs was also spent prepping the vehicle... Friday I was on duty but had to help in the handing over too... all in all... a very tiring week... Hm.. Now where do I start??

Monday/ Tuesday:
Nothing much, just the same parade rehearsals... Hearing the same old, "Sharper than that gentlemen!!", "Close your fingers!!", "Bang down your leg faster!!"... sian... hear until we can remember it by heart... got back to camp at 2 plus... too tired to do anything... all of us took a short nap... then went out for dinner, got back to prep for the real parade on Tues... Tues morning had rehearsals too... same as always... then we rested till afternoon and prepped for parade... in between, we had lunch and the Chief Armour Officer came to talk to us too... so didn't really get much sleep... The parade was ok... cos it rained before we started, so it was more cooling... Had 4 guests of honour... Chief of Armour, Chief of Army, Chief of Defence Force and Minister of Defence... so, we had to present arms aka arms salute 4 times, plus 2 times for the colours when they entered and when they paraded around the square... Then came the recitation of the SAF pledge and 1 minute silence for those who lost their lives during training... Then the singing of the National Anthem and after that, the best part... the Fire of Joy... usually used during National Day Parade... this time, we fired shots 3 at a time, instead of one at a time... but it also sounded great... hehe.... after that, we had the armour vehicle drive past... all 20+ vehicles... that's a lot of vehicles... had dinner and went back to camp to pack up.... then I went home in the crowded MRT...

Wednesday/ Thursday:
Went to NUS for medical checkup today... went with Shiqin, supposed to meet 2 other friends, but they wanted to go earlier, so I just met him and took the train there... Tot there would be a lot of ppl there, but as it turns out, not many were there... so we breezed through it quite fast, around 30 mins... noe bad thing though, is that we got bombarded by those societies who waited outside for us to go take our chest x rays... they all wanted us to give our names for their orientation camp thingys... sheesh... If I was interested, I'd ask... anyway, I had to get back to camp so I left Shiqin at Jurong East after lunch... (Sorry about that Shiqin, but I had to rush)... He took the east line, I took the north line to camp... Y? Cos I had to settle my vehicle... we were going to hand over the vehicles, and needed to make sure they where in top form... although y they had to be, I don't know... as long as it works, fine with me... So I joined the rest and we tackled all 6+ vehicles... ended at 6 plus, we were damn tired already... with all the greasing, cleaning, pumping, oiling... sheesh... and the worst thing is that some areas we had to grease were really out had to reach... like what Ronald said... 'Wah, must be very flexible to be able to reach that'... Actually... I wasn't THAT flexible... I was just on my belly, on the floor of my vehicle, trying to reach something smaller than my pinkie that was situated in the middle of the engine compartment floor... argh!!! I nearly couldn't get my hand out!!! I was trying to grease something, and my own arm needed greasing too!!! WTF!! That's the problem with those engineers who designed the vehicle... they designed it based on the fact that we're not carrying anythings, when we actually have SBO and helmet... and they placed those things in such out of the reach places, for what?? You guys have the big cranes, hydraulic jacks and stuff, but we don't, so spare a thought for us!!! It was only Ronald and me working on my vehicle on Thursday, the rest were clearing leave... and we worked till 7... Then I decided that I should go home, cos no one was in the bunk, so I packed up, changed and told Hock, who was doing COS, that I'll come back the next morning, and take over him, cos it was my duty on Fri...

Friday:
So it's Friday and I'm on duty... kinda happy cos today's duty is only until night... cos it's half day, Sat is a holiday... But what a day man... went to find the person in charge of the waste oil store so I could go and dump this huge bag of oil we drained from the vehicle yesterday... got back in 20 mins... found out OC gave the rest a half day, so while there were busy trying to book out, my PS and I were busy sorting out the paperwork and stuff to hand over the vehicles today... went down to the vehicle shed with a whole trolley of paperwork cos each vehicle had 2 binder files and a log book... and we had to hand everything over... and I was there from 1030 to 2!!! I missed my lunch even!! I had to run around all the vehicles, touching up things some of the others didn't do... cos they wanted it all ok... and most of the guys didn't take out their drain plugs... I had to do all... think I took out around 8 of them... by the time I was done, I was super tired... cos I hadn't eaten and I still had my cold... Got back to the office at 2 and just plonked down there... super tired sia.... I didn't eat until dinner... then locked up the office and handed in the keys, and I left camp at around 8...

Clubbing!!
Ok... I went to China Black again on Wed with Shiqin... went there to meet Val, Khas, Johan, Edwin, Kenny and Shilin... guess the guys got there early, cos they managed to get the VIP seats... haha... good for you guys!! At the start, the music wasn't too great, so we just sat there, chatted as best as we could cos we were just under a huge speaker... only when the songs got better did we hit the dance floor... And when we said hit the dance floor, we really HIT it... in the end, we took over the entire platform area... ahaha.... I won't bore you with all the songs or whatever... let's just say that the 2 girls were really great that day... although it was crowded, they still managed to groove... Woohoo!!! ;) Think I'll just talk about the interesting ones... like 'The Vibrator'... it's actually a girl who's either high or on drugs cos she sure dances like one... imagine a person dancing with her head bobbing up and down, pelvic region going front back front back.... and NOT MOVING FROM THAT SPOT!!! She was so preoccupied that she bumped into Johan and fell off the stage, and she still said that Johan pushed her... sheesh... And she stepped on Val's foot too!! Twice!! Poor Val... ;)'

Then there's the idiot Ang Moh who thinks he really can dance... I don't know... what dance do you can that? The Scarecrow where you basically don't move much, arms out like a T... shifting from one foot to another... what kind of f***ing dance is that???? Then he tried to get close to this pair of girls, one tall, one short, who were dancing on the platform with us... they didn't even care about him... so he moved over to Kai, who joined us a bit later... Anyway, he moved over to her and I was actually watching him... the moment he nearly touched her, Val just shifted her over the the left and Khas took that spot... Wahaha... then he tried to shift over to Val... so I shifted her over and blocked him too... after that, Khas and I just slowly backed up, forcing him off the platform!! Yahoo!! Well done Khas!! After that, we just had to contend with the Vibrator... Oh yeah!!! I nearly forgot!! There was a trans dancing on one of the platforms too!! Nice moves, even put one leg on the counter... haha... great to watch her dance... Then Shilin and Ser went to dance on the bar top... Whoo.... Nice too... all this while, us guys were just enjoying the dancing and 'performances'... hehe... Afterwards, the manager actually gave the girls privileges the next time they came to China Black... argh... guys didn't get anything, but the girls could always reserve the seats for us... hehe... woohoo!! We left the club at 3, then tried to wait for the Bus plus NR7... but WTF... he just waved us off... bloody idiot uncle, in the end, we had to share cabs... I shared one with Val, Johan and Shiqin... I walked Val home while the other 2 took the cab back... Hehe... Johan insisted they take a Merc cab... and he actually managed to flag one, even when there were 2 other cabs already parked in front of him!!! Great going man!!!

Anyway, I got home at 4 plus, slept for an hour then went back to camp... Hehe... But I have to say, that day, it really was worth braving the rain, taking the risk and spending that money... haha... We just HAVE to do this again...

This blog is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced reasoning inherent to the thinking of the mind. It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mind and body. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led me, inexorably, here. (Yeah. It's edited from Matrix Reloaded, so bite me)
