Public holidays are some of the worst days to call for home delivery... Wanted to call pizza for the family today for dinner... Tot it would be early enough if I called at 6pm... apparently not... couldn't even get through to the answering machine...

So in the end, my sis and I went down to the pizza hut at siglap to order some takeaway... had to wait 30-45 mins.. not so bad a time, so we just spent that time looking for dvds to rent at video ezy and had some coffee at starbucks...

When we went to collect our orders, several stupid things happened that pissed me off... one... stupid kids that kept running in and out of the restaurant like they owned the place... its already crowded enough with ppl queueing up outside and inside, to make payments, collect orders... As well as the service staff trying to deliver orders... There is NO need for kids to run around like its their playground.. wonder what their parents were doing.. Too busy stuffing their mouths I guess...

Then, we realised they screwed up our order.. apparently, one of the earlier patrons ordered a smiliar item, the party meal, and didn't really check carefully before whisking off with MY food... and I sure as hell didn't want to take HIS cold rubbish.. so, they had to rush another order for us, had to wait another 10 minutes...

And to add to my very pissed off mood already... this rude fat balding ass who is apparently blind, looked at me while I was waiting at the counter and just said "Can get me a cup of ice?" WTF?!?!?!?

DO I FREAKING LOOK LIKE I WORK THERE?? THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SERVICE STAFF WHO ARE WEARING RED AND WHITE SHIRTS WITH BLACK PANTS, AND ME WEARING A BROWN TEE, JEANS AND A CAP... FOR GOODNESS SAKE MAN... LOOK CAREFULLY!!!!

Didn't even say sorry after realising his mistake.. in fact, he didn't even say excuse me in the first place... wtf... Really had a good mind to go to him after getting my order and telling him "Excuse me, would you still like that cup of ice?" and if he says anything that even resembles a yes, I'll tell him to get it himself... Sheesh man... and they complain that singapore service isn't good... with customers like that... who wants to give good service??

But.. I was just too tired and in a hurry to get back home to deliver the food to even bother with such people... waste my energy trying to talk to cavemen... Can you imagine taking 2 hours to get food?? Left home at 6pm.. got back at 8 plus... sheesh...

Managed to catch the fireworks for this year's parade... Not very spectacular... last year's fireworks festival ones were much better... and longer too... Hehe... It just doesn't feel like National Day this year.. don't know why...

Just finished a 3 dvd movie marathon with my sis... lol... This is the only way to spend a holiday man... Hehe... No crowds, no irritating kids.. and no blind idiots!!
