Actually... my exams ended on the 28th, but too tired to blog... guess studying till 5am and sleeping for only 3 hours before going for exams is going to do that to you... heh...
Anyway... It's time to PARTY!!! Gonna be going to Zouk for Mambo this Wed!! Incidentally, it's my birthday too!! Whee!!!
Think this is a bit late, but if anyone is going, just gimme a call... I'll be in there... hehehe... Gonna go celebrate now!! Whee!!!

This is my old hair... one reason I wanted to cut it was cos the fringe kept irritating me whenever the wind blew... it was so long, it tickled my nose... hehe...
This is my NEW hair!!! Nice? I kinda think so... was getting bored with the old look anyway.... hehe... tot Singapore was too hot for it... but just when I cut it... it had to rain 2 days in a row!! Bah!!!
Anyway... which do you guys think is better?? Old or new??

Val and I have been craving Settler's Cafe since our last visit last week... We went there after having dinner with Jenny and KF at the nearby Fisherman's Wharf... the Fish and Chips there is good!!! Although service could have been better... I should probaby ask the boss to hire me to teach his service staff about service man... Quite pissed the last time I went there... Nvm... this shall be a happy post... don't wanna spoil it... hehe..
Anyway... It's Jenny's bday and we took pics!! Hehe... On the way there, we stopped by Big O and got the Spike D and Aphrodisiac for her... hehe... Remember guys!! We still have a dinner date at Big O too!!

Lucky thing she loved durian cake... one taste of the Spike D and... well... the pictures speak for themselves... We just finished both cakes... then went on down to Settlers Cafe at Clarke Quay... heh... Hadn't been there for quite a while, after our 12 ppl outing there the last time... I see they have new games... Yay!! That day, we played Cluedo, Fluxx, Munchkins and a few more... till 1am... heh...

Today... we went to the Holland Village one cos the Clarke Quay one was fully booked... Bleah... Ladies night... We tried A Dog's Life, Blackmail and Munchkins again... Don't know y... but today just wasn't as fun as last week... maybe it's the location... fengshui not good... hehe...

A Dog's Life was complicating... Munchkins just wasn't fun... Blackmail was interesting though... It's kinda like Monopoly, but instead of houses and hotels, you get to place cameras at different locations on the board... any other person who lands on the square with someone else's camera gets blackmailed when they get home and open their 'letters' Yup!! This game not only comes with mini cameras, it comes with mini letters too!! You can set a price they have to pay you... or they can choose to take a blackmail card... which might denote how much you have to pay them... from $10,000 to $100,000... hehe... Poor Jenny got $100,000 when she had to pay me... Heh.. I only asked for $30,000... hee... and as you can guess... object of the game was to bankrupt the other players... hehe... Last one standing wins... and... Val won... She cleaned me out... heh... *hugz* Didn't know she was so cunning... hehe...
This is Blackmail's playing board... kinda like a curvy Monopoly board...
Blackmail's money, letter and camera pieces... the letters are the smaller rectangular pieces and the cameras are damn cute!! Smallest denomination for blackmail is $1000... hee... and salary is $10,000 everytime!!
Poor Jenny!! She had to pay me $100,000 for the 'photo' I took of her... hee... KF's just going "huh??"
We left around 10.30pm... to take the train back home... Hur... around 45 mins on the train with just Val's ipod for company... so... we took funny pics!! Hehe... The first few were taken on our way to school in the afternoon... last 2 on the way back...

Dog's life was kinda confusing, Blackmail was interesting... but most disappointing was Munchkins... don't know y, but it just didn't play the same... damn sian cos all the high level enemies started to pop out damn early in the game... we couldn't beat them... Guess maybe the atmosphere wasn't that good...
Oh well... I'm going to bathe first... Pics later!!!

What I find weird, is that the CAs are in mcq format, but the final paper has mcp AND short answer questions... I mean, we haven't done any tests with short answer questions, and now the final paper has short answer questions? How would we know what they really want in the answers?
Then for LSM2102, the CA was 40%... 4 mcq and 4 short answer questions... o.O one mcq is 5%??? Wah lau... Luckily I managed to score not so bad for it... tot I'd die for that paper... Anyway... then the final paper is in mcq format!! Wah lau... Really dunno what they thinking... Can't the CA and final paper format be the same??
Kinda sleepy now... woke up in the morning to go for lunch with my family at this japanese restaurant at Siglap... Had set lunches... not really very ex... but nothing spectacular too... then went down to Parkway with my sis to check the phone price for Kevin... Popped into Giodarno and saw the nice Corduroy pants, not very thick, but quite ex... one pair $50... hur... Tot Gio pants were cheaper... Went to see watches too... but the nice ones are like 3 digits... hrm... maybe not now then...
Parkway is damn crowded on Sundays... family day mah... Walked past Giant... saw maids waiting with prams outside the store, while the parents went shopping in Giant... Maybe they should put 'pram parking lots' for them... hee...
Parkway has really changed a lot... but too bad traffic is still as bad... heh... too many cars and too little road...
Guess I'd better get back to studying... 2 more weeks to exams!! Argh....

This week is damn irritating... I mean, cos of Deepavali and Hari Raya, it's like one day on, one day off... Alternate days in school... Gah... just give us Wed off lah.. But can't... cos I have a quiz tmr, and project presentation to attend otherwise my participation marks will be lower... AND I also have my usual lab till 5... Gah... gonna be running around tmr... Imagine, go to school for quiz at 10, then work in lab, go presentation at 1, then grab a bite and get back to the lab till 5... hai~...
It's not that I don't enjoy lab... just that I'd prefer to stay there the whole day, rather than run around school... It just spoils the momentum... AND it's damn expensive to go watch a movie... cos it's eve of PH, PH, eve of PH, PH, then weekend this whole week!! Argh!! I tot Val and I could go catch a movie, esp now that she's not so busy... Bleah... gotta have to wait till next week...
Well... at least we managed to have a great time at Settlers Cafe with Jenny and KF... hehe.. Btw... Happy Birthday Jenny!! Hehe... hope you like the cakes... Big O's Spike D and Aphrodisiac... hehe... they make wonderful birthday cakes!! Settlers Cafe expanded to the floor upstairs too... haven't been there in a long time man... great games too... hee... I want to play Munchkins!! We made friends with the staff there too... esp this girl, Evonne. She damn farney... then we also suan her like crazy... hehe... "Press for service" hee... Probably going back there next Thurs... Ladies night... cheaper rates.. hee...
Heh... last night was nice... Val and I haven't stayed out that late in quite a while... hee... brings back memories of our walks at night too... hehe... hopefully, we can still have time to do that during Dec... Just walk around enjoying each other's company, hand in hand... heh...
K... think I should get back to studying now... Exam's coming!!! Stress!!!
