Today was movie day!! Went down to school to get Office 2007 from IT Co-op.. then met Nic for lunch after her horrendous Organic Chem paper... Dun worry nic... I suffered through that as well... lol...
Munchie Monkey's seriously getting worse... the food wasn't as good as the first time... and it seems that they're always running out of something...
Ran into Xu zi and a few other friends there too... most still had papers.. Oops.. xP
With lunch done, and of course some slight commenting on the Dancefloor results, I headed to Plaza Singapura to check out movie timings for Wild Hogs... Felt like watching it today when I was on the way to school.. so I called the only person I knew didn't have anymore papers... Callie... lol...
Reached PS earlier than expected, walked around a bit, explored Plaza Sing, after my self imposed isolation of 10 days at home, I seriously needed this... Did some window shopping, checked movie timings at PS, then headed to The Cathay to check those timings... The Cathay had earlier timings, so I decided to grab a cuppa while waiting for her, and scoot up in a corner with a good book...
So there I was... sitting on a comfy sofa, in Starbucks with a cappuccino on the side table and a good book in hand... looking out at everyone walking past the window... Sigh~... its been too long since I did that... I miss those times we did that in Aus bro... Hope I can visit you soon... =)
Wild Hogs was alright a movie... some quite funny scenes, but some parts were kinda long... and after awhile, you kinda get sick of the bumbling tech geek gags... Some of the gags were predictable... You could see it coming and were just waiting for it to happen... There was some character development, but not equally among all of them... and that weird gay cop just disappeared after a while... could have been funnier if he'd stuck around longer... I guess the best part was actually at the credits... Special edition of Extreme Makeover... lol...
On a side note... the popcorn was great... as was the company... =)
Had some time to burn after the movie, so we went back to PS to window shop a bit... Saw some nice shirts at Domanchi... tempting me to buy sia... lol... Then went to Action City cos I saw this cute mushroom table lamp that looked like it fit on her table.. heh... But we were both more amused by those furry gigantic paw gloves... take a look... couldn't resist taking a few pics, before we were told by the staff that we couldn't... bah... helping you advertise leh... lol...

OMG!! My hand's all hairy and swollen!! Cute swollen hand though... lol...
We kinda window-shopped all the way to Taka... quite surprising that its so hard to find an artificial red rose... heh... I kinda realised that I could be a semi-fashion consultant... lol... I pick nice clothes, good shoes, appropriate accessories sometimes... now if only I had enough cash for all of them... lol...
Recently stumbled upon this good find too... Finally found something suitable for me...
Cool right? Found them at Queensway... $16... so its kinda like 1 for $8... Matched my bracelet too... lol... since both have matt and gloss areas... Got my shoes too... new Adidas... $73... quite good price... the soles are better too... not as grippy as the Superstars, so I can turn and slide more easily when I dance... Got both of those items before the reading week... when I went shopping with Wenyan.. lol...
I have no idea why... but I just love those rings of mine... Never really felt so strongly about an accessory before... It just spoke out to me... Guess its always been the way I do my shopping... Something to do with the 'Wow' factor... if the particular item I'm looking for doesn't look just as good in real life as compared to the pic, then I'm still not going to buy it... No matter what... some ppl couldn't get why... its all about happiness, I've got to feel happy about what I buy... and not just buy something cos its there, or cheap... Thats not how I work... Especially when its something I'm looking for in particular... But I digress...
Shopping with Callie's quite fun... We're each other's fashion advisors sometimes... lol... I pick shoes for her, she picks shirts for me... lol...
Grabbed a snack with her at taka before she had to change and leave for work... I've only got one thing to say... DAYMN... Lol... *wink*
Looking forward to Spidey 3 and Pirates!! Lol...
